We are pleased to announce the Grenoble Workshop on Nanomagnetism (GWN 2026), an international event dedicated to early-career scientists, taking place from June 23 to 26, 2026.
Nanomagnetism is a rapidly evolving field within condensed matter physics, fueling progress in spintronics, magneto-optics, and magnonics. This workshop offers a dedicated space to explore these topics, specifically tailored for an international audience of PhD students, post-docs, and Master students. It serves as a prime venue for early-career researchers to present their own research and engage with peers. The program combines keynote lectures from recognized experts with student contributions, featuring both selected oral presentations and lively poster sessions to stimulate scientific discussion.
In addition to the academic agenda, the event emphasizes professional development and community building. Attendees will have the chance to visit some of Grenoble's large scientific facilities, offering a behind-the-scenes look at advanced research infrastructures. The schedule also features a career focus, including industry insights and a fair designed to connect participants with professionals from both the private and public sectors. To ensure accessibility, the workshop is free of charge for accepted applicants.
