QuanG –We are seekingtalented and motivated applicantsin the domains of physics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, chemistry and humanities, for a PhD thesis in quantum sciences and/or technologies.The thesis project has to plan a secondment in a company (2 months) or in an international academic laboratory (4 months). Applicants have to satisfy theEU MSCA mobility criteria (they must not have spent more than 12 months in France during the last three years (i.e., between October 7th2020 and October 6th, 2023), not including holidays.
QuanTEdu-France –We are seeking talented and motivated applicants in the domains of physics,computerscience,electricalengineeringandmathematics,foraPhDthesisin quantumtechnologies.Thesistopicshavetocoverquantumcomputing,quantum simulation, quantum communication, quantum sensors or quantum metrology.
Practical informations
PhD Starting date:February 1st2024 to June 1st2024
Gross salary prior to employee tax deduction: 2100 euros for QuanTEdu-France; 2300 euros for QuanG. Additional travel allowance will be granted by both programs.ForQuanG,itwillcoverupto8k€thesecondmentcostsincludingtraveland accommodation, and the participation to international conferences and schools. For QuanTEdu-France,afundingof5k€isawardedtofinancemissionsoroperating expenses during the thesis.
Yearly enrollment to University Grenoble Alpes is around 500 € (covered by QuanG)
Duration: 36 months

They have to present a PhD project together with their future supervisors, following the instructions detailed in the application interface. Deadlines and timeline:

November 13th to 17th, 2023: selection of candidates for an interview
December 11thto 13th, 2023: interview of the selected candidates
December 18th, 2023:information on the outcome of the selection
January 3rd, 2024: acceptance of the positions is required from the selected candidates
