Event Mobility for PhD Students

Sponsorship for doctoral students who wish to participate in schools, workshops or conferences, as well as scientific visits.
Before applying, we strongly advise the candidates to make sure other forms of funding such mobilities does not already exist in their laboratory.

Eligibility:

  • This support is to be used by any Doctoral student enrolled in a member laboratory, except for QuanG and QuantEdu students.
  • Priority will be given to first-time applicants and to those presenting a poster or giving a talk.
  • The requested amount must reflect the destination and be in line with the laboratory's travel policies.

Amount: For up to € 3,000 per person. The applications must justify the requested sum clearly and explain whether there is a possibility of financing their mobility using other funds.

Application period:

The application platform will be open from December 16th, 2024 to January 31st, 2025.

Results: The applicants will be informed of the results three weeks after the end of call.

  • You will not receive a confirmation of your submission, if you wish to receive the summary of your application, email QuantAlps Contact.
  • Please make sure that the timeline of the response to this call corresponds to the dates of your mobility, otherwise your application risks to be disregarded.

Reception of the funds

The applicants will receive the attributed amount on the account of their laboratory of affiliation in order to organize and book their trip following their laboratory's travel policy.
The applicants are also committed to:

  • Inform QuantAlps immediately in the case that their travel plans change and website at latest 15 days prior to the event (registration)
  • Add QuantAlps logo to their poster or presentation
  • Send a short report a month after the end of their mission to QuantAlps
