The Quantalps federation is glad to announce that Jean Dalibard of Collège de France will give his lectures for the Collège de France on Ultracold Quantum Matter this year in Grenoble. Each lecture will be followed by an hour-long seminar from our colleagues in Grenoble, to showcase common aspects emerging both in solid-state and ultracold atom systems.

    • Seminar by Nicolas Roch: Superconductivity and phase coherence in amorphous superconductors

  • Friday 17 January, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM ; Ampère Amphitheater

    • Lecture II: Solitons in quantum fluids, a surprisingly rich world
    • Seminar by Mathieu Gibert: Direct visualisation of the quantum vortex lattice structure, oscillations, and destabilisation in rotating 4He

    • Lecture III: Scale invariance, a hidden symmetry explored with ultracold gases
    • Seminar by Cécile Repellin: Edge mode spectroscopy in atomic fractional quantum Hall droplets - An example of conformal invariance
