Title: Quantum frame relativity of correlations, subsystem dynamics and thermodynamics

Abstract: Employing internal quantum systems as reference frames is a crucial concept in quantum gravity, gauge theories and quantum foundations whenever external relata are unavailable. In contrast to standard notions of frames, internal quantum reference frames are thus included in the description of physical scenarios, and such a description becomes entirely relational. I will review recent developments that have invoked quantum frames to extend the relativity principle into the quantum realm. A key output is a method for switching between the perspectives of different quantum frames, which may be in relative superposition. It has been shown that this leads to a quantum frame dependence of the very notion of subsystem, and in this talk, I will summarize consequences of this for correlations, types of subsystem dynamics (open vs. closed) and thermodynamics.
