Postdoctoral Researcher Positions 2027

What’s the Opportunity?

We are seeking outstanding candidates for QuantAlps Postdoctoral Researcher positions to develop an ambitious 2-year research program on one of the topics relevant to QuantAlps, based in one of the QuantAlps laboratories, and in collaboration with local researchers.

Eligibility: The candidates must have a Doctoral degree and at least 1 year of postdoctoral experience on the call deadline.

Award Package

  • 2-year work contract by the University Grenoble Alpes,
  • Monthly gross salary starting from €3,020, depending on the work experience,
  • Research budget of 10 thousand euros for operating costs and to support the research activities.

Starting date of the contract: Between April 1, 2027, and December 31, 2027, based on the availabilities of the candidate

Selection Criteria

  • scientific excellence of the candidate,
  • quality of the research proposal,
  • relevance to QuantAlps research topics,
  • new skills and competences brought by the candidate to the QuantAlps ecosystem,
  • contribution to synergy between different laboratories or teams within QuantAlps ecosystem.

  2. Download and complete the research proposal form available below. The completed research proposal form must bare the approval signatures of the local contact in the potential host laboratory and of the director of the laboratory.

  4. Further documents would be needed to complete the online application: a cover letter and CV.
  5. Please arrange for two recommendation letters to be sent to the following address, no later than the deadline of the call:  chairs-quantalps@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr with the subject “QuantAlps Postdoctoral call First name Surname”

  • Early December 2026: Interview of the candidates
  • Mid-December 2026: Final results published
