Scientific image & artwork contest

LabEx QuantAlps launches its first contest open to all members of the QuantAlps ecosystem

We are excited to announce a Scientific Image & Artwork Contest for the QuantAlps Federation and Labex. The competition is open to all Master Students, PhDs, PostDocs and researchers working on projects that are part of the QuantAlps ecosystem.

To participate, prepare your best artwork from your research including a caption/short description (120 characters maximum).

The goal of the contest is to highlight the role of visual communication in scientific research as well as to give a face to the researchers conducting it and to encourage researchers to document the environment in which they work. Participation in the competition is free of charge.

You can apply within two categories:

  • #1 Scientific: Object of study (image, micrographs, plots, photograph, it can have been taken with any type of instrument and must include a scalebar for photograph and micrographs)
  • #2 People, Places of Science & Scientific Art: observations in the lab, situations in the life of a researcher, humorous illustration or comic strip, 2D and 3D artwork, etc.

Both categories include a first and a second prize.
