Quantum Technologies Deep Dive by the Quantum Hub, CEA

Workshop Innovation
June 25, 2026 - June 26, 2026Agglomération grenobloise
Following on from the Leti innovation days, the quantum Hub, the innovation player of Maison du Quantique Alpes is organising the Quantum Technologies deep dive that will bring an overview of the different paths forward to building a quantum computer.

Objective:

The event aims to provide a comprehensive comparison of the leading hardware technologies vying to build the future quantum computer. As of now, no single approach has demonstrated a clear quantum advantage. Both end-users such as French Hub quantique partners and investors, who are the primary audience for this event, are keen to understand which technology is likely to succeed. They need insights into the robustness of the theoretical scientific foundations driving current developments as well as they need to hear them state the technical locks and the potential for their resolution. They also wish to hear about technology providers’s robustness results and roadmaps. The event will highlight the comparative advantages of different approaches, their challenges, and the capacity of ongoing R&D to overcome these hurdles.

Event content:

The Quantum Technologies Deep Dive event will feature popularized scientific presentations on the most promising technological pathways.
  • Opening Keynote: An overview of the current state of quantum technologies and the importance of the event.
  • Technical sessions including
    • Systematic introduction by a scientific expert outlining the theoretical principles and advantages of the technology.
    • When existing, presentation by technology providers discussing the specifics, advantages, and challenges of their approaches, along with their roadmaps.
  • Panel discussion : synthesis of a chairman leading to fruitful stake holders exchanges focusing on challenges, milestones, and roadmaps
  • Closing remarks: A summary of the key takeaways and future outlook for quantum technologies

Key comparison elements to be presented:

Speakers will be encouraged to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of targeted technological platform,  in particular with respect to specific metrics as well as planned route towards a fault tolerant architecture. Potential specific quantum algorithms for which platform would be are particularly suitable are welcome to be presented.

Scientific committee :

Conducted by Maison du quantique Alpes in its aim to develop innovation on the domain based on Hub quantique experience and expectation.

Target audience

  • End-users seeking to understand the potential and limitations of various quantum technologies to guide their R&D stragegy
  • Investors looking for insights to make informed decisions about where to invest for optimal return on investment (ROI).
