Call for Applications: July 1st - September 8th, 2025.
QuantAlps offers financial support for organizing scientific events - such as schools, workshops, conferences - scheduled to take place in 2025. These events should align with QuantAlps' research themes and promote collaboration within its community and beyond.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
Affiliation: at least one event organizer must be affiliated with a QuantAlps member laboratory.
Thematic alignment: The event's theme should align with QuantAlps' research axes or federative projects.
Participant inclusion: Priority is given to events featuring speakers and participants from QuantAlps laboratories.
Impact statement: the application must describe the event's expected impact on QuantAlps ecosystem.
Funding details
Maximum amount: up to €3,000 per event.
Justification: The requested amount must be justified in the application.
Eligible expenses: Funds can be used for expenses such as venue rental, speaker travel, accommodation, catering, and materials.
Application process
Submission period:July 1st to September 8th, 2025.
Event timing: events must be scheduled to occur within the 2025 calendar year. For events scheduled in 2026, another call will be opened in October.
Notification: Applicants will be informed of the results via email three weeks after the application deadline.
Important Notes:

Ensure that the event's schedule aligns with the funding decision timeline. Applications for events occurring before funding decisions are made may not be considered.
Post-Award requirements
Upon receiving the funding approval letter:
Inform QuantAlps of the preferred month for fund transfer to the organizing entity.
Provide the contact of the financial department in charge of managing the event's funds to facilitate timely fund allocation.
The recipients of the sponsorship agree to:
Include QuantAlps logo on all event-related communications and materials.
Provide detailed information about the event (including date, location and registration details) at least 15 days prior to the event for promotion on QuantAlps website and newsletter.
Submit a brief report to QuantAlps within one month after the event concludes, summarizing outcomes, participant feedback and potential follow-up activities.

The information collected on this form (mandatory / optional) is subject to processing intended for the management and evaluation of applications for QuantAlps events sponsorships. Please note that you can withdraw your consent any time.
The recipients of the data are: the QuantAlps coordination team and the internal selection committee.
The retention period of the information is limited to 5 years after the end of the funded mobility. The data will then be archived or destroyed in accordance with UGA's data retention policies.
